A Collector Bulkhead is used to terminate the cable in an e-coil at the uphole, reel end of the coil.
Located at the end of a coiled tubing reel, a collector bulkhead provides the pressure bulkhead and electrical feedthru to ensure electrical continuity for up to 8 conductors. They allow transmission of power and electrical signals between the downhole pressured environment and surface data acquisition equipment.
